The straps can be crossed over or worn as you would a normal bra. Unfortunately the hook is attached facing the wrong way, so it pulls out almost as soon as you hook the strap into place. Definitely can not be trusted to be worn as a sports bra, as any slight movement the straps will ping straight off

The design rubs where the straps meet the rest of the sports bra - very uncomfortable.Had to send it back.
